Senior leaders from eight northern states attended the regional session. The workshop focused on cadre development, election strategy, and digital outreach.
Chandigarh: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organized a grand Northern Regional Trainer Training Workshop under the Deendayal Training Mahabhiyan 2026 program at the Kamalam office in Sector 33. Party leaders described it as a historic and energetic event. The workshop aimed to further strengthen the organizational structure and develop trained leadership.
State presidents, general secretaries, ministers, MPs, and MLAs from eight states in the Northern region, including Chandigarh, Punjab, Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Rajasthan, and Ladakh, were present. The large presence of senior officials lent special significance to the event. Leaders stated that this event would prove to be a milestone in organizational strengthening.
The program began with the lighting of lamps and the chanting of Vande Mataram. This created an atmosphere of nationalism and positive energy throughout the campus. Subject matter experts and senior leaders then shared their views in various sessions.
National Organization General Secretary B. L. Santosh described the organizational strength, discipline, and ideological commitment as the soul of the party. He said, “Trainers are not just guides, but the carriers of the organization’s ideology.” He clarified that the primary objective of the Deendayal Training Mahabhiyan 2026 is to prepare trained, dedicated, and capable workers at the Mandal level.
National General Secretary Tarun Chugh discussed the BJP’s role in nation-building. He stated that the party has established a new direction by adhering to the principles of service, good governance, and upliftment of the poor. Regarding election management, he described booth empowerment, meticulous management, data-driven strategy, and coordinated teamwork as the key to victory.
Senior leader O. P. Dhankhar highlighted the central government’s public welfare schemes. He stated that BJP workers play a strong bridge between the government and the public. He called for spreading the message of a developed and self-reliant India to the masses.
In the same vein, B. D. Sharma highlighted the relevance of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya’s Integral Humanism. He described effective coordination between the organization and the government as the foundation for success.
Ajay Mahawar provided detailed training on media management. He emphasized the importance of timely, factual, and positive communication as essential for a strong image of the organization. Meanwhile, Abhinav Prakash discussed the changing role of social media and AI. He emphasized the importance of building positive narratives and effectively utilizing technology in the digital age.
The closing session clearly conveyed that the Deendayal Prashikshan Mahabhiyan 2026 is not merely a formal program. It is a comprehensive campaign of organizational restructuring and ideological strengthening. The party believes that this initiative will create trained and committed leadership down to the Mandal level. As a result, the organization will become more empowered and move forward towards its goal of public service.
