Traffic Rules and Discipline Awareness Program Organized in Sector 21

Market Welfare Association raised awareness among traders and citizens about safe and disciplined traffic.

Chandigarh: An impressive Traffic Rules and Discipline Awareness Program was held in the parking area of ​​Sector 21C, Chandigarh. The program was organized by the Market Welfare Association, Sector 21. The program aimed to create awareness among traders, youth, and the general public about traffic rules.

Chandigarh: The program was conducted under the leadership of Sukhpal Singh and Vinod Joshi. A large number of local businessmen and citizens attended the event. Everyone pledged to promote safe and disciplined traffic.

Jatinder Pal Malhotra, State President, BJP Chandigarh, was present as the chief guest. He said, “Following traffic rules is not just a fear of the law, but also a responsibility towards society and family.” He warned that even minor negligence on the road can lead to major accidents.

He urged two-wheeler drivers to wear helmets and four-wheeler drivers to wear seat belts. He also stressed the importance of avoiding overspeeding, jumping red lights, driving on the wrong side of the road, and using mobile phones. He urged young people to avoid stunts and reckless driving.

Traffic Police Inspector Sanjeev Sharma also spoke on the occasion. He explained that driving without a valid license, insurance, registration, or PUC is a punishable offense. He added, “It is every driver’s responsibility to keep all necessary documents up-to-date.”

Many dignitaries, including Chiranjeev Singh, Radhelal, Rajiv Dhawan, Sandeep Kathuria, Vijay Garg, and Prabodh Mahajan, attended the event. Finally, everyone collectively pledged to follow traffic rules and spread awareness.
