During the drive, the enforcement teams dismantled several illegal jhuggis and temporary structures that had mushroomed in the area. Additionally, eight unauthorized three-wheelers were removed, and carts placed outside the permitted vending zones were seized to restore order and accessibility on public paths.

Sector 34, which has been frequently flagged for public space violations, witnessed further action where 25 challans were issued to shopkeepers found encroaching the pedestrian corridors. In total, 85 challans were issued during this well-coordinated operation across both sectors.

The MC officials stated that such drives will continue in the coming weeks to maintain public convenience, promote safety, and preserve the city’s planned infrastructure. Authorities have urged vendors and shopkeepers to strictly adhere to designated areas to avoid penalties and action.
