Chandigarh, June 27, 2025 – The PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) successfully organized the 5th Edition of the HR Conclave and the 2nd Edition of HR Excellence Recognition 2025 at Hotel Lalit, Chandigarh. Themed “Building Future Workforce,” the event gathered over 200 HR professionals from Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, and Chandigarh to explore the evolving landscape of human resources and recognize excellence in HR practices.

In his inaugural address, Mr. Lokesh Jain, Co-Chair of the Haryana State Chapter, PHDCCI, highlighted the growing need to prioritize employee experience. “HR should focus on creating an environment where individuals feel valued, motivated, and empowered,” he noted, urging organizations to embrace employee-centric strategies.
Dr. GP Rao, Founder of Good People Relations, delivered the keynote address, emphasizing innovation in HR practices to meet today’s dynamic workplace demands. He called on HR leaders to adopt agile and forward-thinking approaches that foster both employee growth and organizational success.
Mr. Rajneesh Singh, Chair of HR Conclave 2025 and Managing Partner at Simply Group, stressed the need to reimagine HR in the face of rapid transformation. He spoke on the importance of flexibility and strategic adaptation to meet modern workforce expectations.
Mr. Naveen Seth, Deputy Secretary General, PHDCCI, underscored the conclave’s role as a thought leadership platform, offering a space for dialogue on workforce skilling, employee well-being, and digital transformation. “The role of HR as a strategic leader has never been more critical,” he said.
The event featured three high-impact panel discussions:
- Future-Ready Workforce – Moderated by HR Consultant Tanushree Gupta, the session explored emerging skills and adaptability with insights from leaders at Denso Ten Uno Minda, GROZ Engineering Tools, and Vardhman Textiles.
- Technology in HR – Led by Anisha Raghav (Edifecs), this panel highlighted digital innovation with speakers from Cyber Cops, KeKa HR, and Mahindra & Mahindra – Swaraj Division.
- Employee Wellness – Featuring experts from Max India, Premas Life Sciences, MAHLE ANAND, and The Last Mile Care, the discussion addressed the growing importance of wellness in organizational success.
A fireside chat on Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion was led by Dr. GP Rao and moderated by Ipshita Kajla, offering deep insights into building inclusive work cultures.
Ms. Bharti Sood, Regional Director, PHDCCI, delivered the vote of thanks, emphasizing HR’s critical role in shaping sustainable organizations. “We are thrilled with the overwhelming participation and quality dialogue that took place at this year’s conclave,” she said.
The HR Excellence Recognition Awards 2025, organized in collaboration with Simply Group, saw over 100 HR teams submit nominations. 10 organizations were honoured for exemplary HR practices. Crystal Crop Protection Ltd. won the prestigious HR Team of the Year 2024 award.
