Spiritual and Social Leaders Urge Tree Plantation on First Shravan Monday at Trishakti Mandir, Chandigarh

Chandigarh – On the auspicious occasion of the first Monday of the holy month of Shravan, Prabhunath Shahi, founder of Jai Madhusudan Jai Shri Krishna Foundation and a known environmental activist, appealed to people to plant saplings and nurture them into trees. The appeal was made from the premises of Trishakti Mandir, Sector 49, Chandigarh.

Shahi emphasized that Lord Shiva is a divine symbol of ecological balance and environmental stewardship, and urged devotees to align their spiritual devotion with nature conservation efforts.

Acharya Pandit Gaurav Sharma, head priest of the temple, encouraged all attendees to take a pledge for environmental preservation and work with strong commitment and dedication toward safeguarding nature.

Mayank Mishra, a senior journalist and devoted Shiva follower, called upon the residents of Chandigarh to plant trees and contribute to making the city greener during the sacred month of Shravan.

The initiative combined spiritual devotion with environmental responsibility, sending a powerful message about the importance of protecting nature through collective community action.
