Other key office bearers for the term include Usha Sharma as Zonal Club Coordinator, Varinder Kaur as Vice President, Anita Middha as Project Coordinator and Immediate Past President, Kulvinder Kaur as Secretary, Monica Gupta as Treasurer, Suman Gupta as ISO, and Nisha as Club Editor.

Taking charge, Sarbani Dutta reaffirmed her belief in the motto “Seva Parmo Dharmah” — Service is the highest duty. “Witnessing inequality and hardship firsthand inspired me to dedicate my life to social service,” she shared. Her vision includes expanding support for women, children, and marginalized communities, especially those facing poverty, domestic violence, or lack of access to healthcare and education.

Project Coordinator Anita Middha shared a powerful account of helping girls abandoned solely for being daughters. “Offering them shelter and education changed their lives — and mine. It proves how crucial it is to shift societal attitudes,” she said.

Usha Sharma, Zonal Club Coordinator, emphasized that trust in sensitive work is built by “listening without judgment, being present, and honoring dignity.” Vice President Varinder Kaur outlined the club’s strategy to understand community needs through home visits, field surveys, and direct engagement.

Club Editor Nisha advocated for mental well-being as essential for long-term service. “I write, reflect, and stay grounded in purpose,” she said. Treasurer Monica Gupta called attention to persistent issues like gender inequality, lack of quality education, and mental health awareness, especially in rural communities.

Secretary Kulvinder Kaur advised aspiring social workers to “start from the heart, but strengthen it with training. Social change takes time — but it’s worth every moment.”
