Chandigarh: Expanding its premium television lineup, Sony India has launched the massive 98-inch BRAVIA 5 Mini LED 4K TV, priced at ₹6.49 lakh. The launch event took place at X Inc., Chandigarh’s oldest and largest Sony Center, in the presence of Sony Chandigarh Branch Manager Ashwini Chaudhary, X Inc. owner Sanjay Jain, and invited guests, including tech enthusiasts and customers.

Described as a home entertainment game-changer, the BRAVIA 5 aims to deliver a cinematic experience right in the comfort of your living room.
Speaking at the event, Branch Manager Ashwini Chaudhary said, “The BRAVIA 5 98″ is Sony’s biggest and most premium offering yet in the BRAVIA series. It’s designed to provide a theatre-like experience with its large screen and advanced technologies.”
The TV is powered by Sony’s cutting-edge XR AI Processor, which uses artificial and cognitive intelligence to process content in a highly natural and human-like way. This ensures that every frame looks incredibly realistic, enhancing both visual depth and detail.

Additionally, the XR Backlight Master Drive technology, featuring thousands of independently controlled mini LEDs and a precision dimming algorithm, delivers ultra-bright highlights and deep blacks, resulting in superior contrast and a detailed dynamic range.
