The Governor of Punjab honored Padma Shri Bhai Harjinder Singh Ji (Srinagar Vale) at Raj Bhavan

Chandigarh: Padma Shri Awardee and the famous Hazuri Ragi, Bhai Harjinder Singh Ji (Srinagar Velle), were fearless during a special meeting in Raj Bhawan, Chandigarh by Honorable Governor and Administrator, UT Chandigarh, Shri Gulab Chand Kataria.

Bhai Harjinder Singh ji recently honored the Honorable President of India for his outstanding contribution in the spiritual and music tradition of Gurubani Kirtan with the prestigious Padma Shri, received heated greetings from Governor Qataria.

The Governor praised Bhai Sahib’s unwavering dedication to the sacred Gurbani Kirtan, describing the award, which is a well -recognized recognition of his life service for Sikh devotional music. He said, “Bhai Harjinder Singh ji’s melodious voice and spiritual depth have touched the hearts around the world, inspired millions to join the timeless values ​​inherent in Sikhism,” he commented.

He further said that brother Harjinder Singh has become a beach of devotion and tradition, whose intimate rendering resonates in gurdwaras globally, promotes peace, spirituality and cultural harmony. The governor said, “His recognition is not only a moment of pride for Punjab, but also a celebration for the entire Indian spiritual music community.”

On this occasion, the Hon’ble Governor also released a painting brochure called “The Spiritual Journey of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib” written by the Honorable Governor of Punjab State. The publication explains the spiritually uplift teachings and heritage of the ninth Sikh Guru Sahib.
