SEWA Celebrates Teachers’ Day by Honoring Rural Educators in Chandigarh

With the theme “Best Tutor, Best Future”, Sarvahara Education Welfare Association recognized the invaluable contribution of teachers working in rural schools. Chandigarh: The Sarvahara Education Welfare Association (SEWA), Chandigarh celebrated Teachers’ Day with a grand event at the Law Auditorium, Panjab University. The ceremony was dedicated to recognizing and honoring outstanding teachers serving in rural schools and villages of the Union Territory of Chandigarh. This year’s theme, “Best Tutor, Best Future,” highlighted the invaluable role and contributions of rural teachers who continue to nurture young minds despite challenging circumstances. The event was graced by Arun Sood, former Mayor and former BJP President of Chandigarh, as the chief guest. The program saw the participation of senior officials from the Chandigarh Administration and Municipal Corporation, along with a large gathering of teachers, students, and social workers. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Kulbhushan Sharma, National President of NISA (National Independent Schools Alliance), said: “The dedication of rural teachers is unmatched.
