30 Women Journalists and Social Activists Honoured at ‘Super Mom 2026’ Award Ceremony in Chandigarh

Specifically, the Stars of Tricity Group organised the Super Mom 2026 Award ceremony at the Chandigarh Press Club. This event created a memorable afternoon filled with emotional recognition and vibrant cultural performances. The ceremony successfully honoured 30 women journalists and social activists from across the Tricity region. These women received awards for their outstanding professional contributions and deep social commitment. Furthermore, the programme highlighted their inspiring journeys as both community changemakers and dedicated mothers. Media professionals, social workers, and prominent citizens attended the gathering with great enthusiasm. Mr. Surinder Verma, Chairman of the Citizens Awareness Group, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. During the official proceedings, he felicitated the awardees with mementoes and certificates of honour. Addressing the audience, Mr. Verma praised the vital role of women in modern India. BJP Chandigarh Concludes Successful Two-Day Training Camp

The Bharat Ratna Atal District training camp focused on ideological empowerment and grassroots strategy. Party leaders gathered in Barog to prepare workers for the upcoming political challenges and municipal elections. Strengthening the Foundation: BJP Chandigarh Training Camp Ends in Barog CHANDIGARH: BJP Chandigarh Pradesh successfully concluded a dynamic two-day BJP Chandigarh training camp for the Bharat Ratna Atal District on May 10, 2026. The event took place at Sarv Hitkari Shiksha Niketan in Barog, Solan. District President Khushwinder Singh presided over the sessions, which drew enthusiastic participation from state and district office bearers. The primary objective of the camp was to empower party workers ideologically. Furthermore, leaders aimed to communicate the party’s core principles more effectively to the masses. Consequently, thirteen expert speakers addressed the trainees on diverse subjects during the intensive weekend program. State President Jitender Pal Malhotra delivered a keynote session regarding national political and social challenges. During his address, he emphasized, “National interest must always remain above all else in our current political climate.” Meanwhile, Dr. Davinder Kumar Manial spoke about worker development and the vital sense of responsibility within the organization. In addition, Satnam Singh Sandhu highlighted the impact of the Modi government’s welfare schemes. He explained how these initiatives specifically target and benefit the underprivileged sections of society. Following this, Ramveer Bhatti provided a deep dive into the history and development of the BJP. The camp also prioritized modern strategy and digital outreach. Shivendra Mandotra led a session on social media and new technology. Meanwhile, Sanjeev Rana discussed the importance of booth management and the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program. These sessions aimed to strengthen the party at the grassroots level before the upcoming municipal elections. Additionally, Mahesh Inder Sidhu guided the participants on Municipal Corporation functioning. State Media Incharge Ravi Rawat was also present to support the coordination team.
