BJP Chandigarh Guru Ravidas Abhiyan Workshop Focuses on Social Harmony

State leaders unite at Kamalam office to outline booth-level strategies for spreading Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas Ji’s message of equality. CHANDIGARH — The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Chandigarh held a state-level workshop at its party office, Kamalam, on Saturday. Organised under the ‘Shri Guru Ravidas Samrasta Sankalp Abhiyan,’ the event focused on promoting equality, service, and human welfare across all sections of society. Rajya Sabha MP and former Vice-Chancellor Dr. Sikander Kumar addressed the gathering as the chief speaker. During his speech, he highlighted Sant Ravidas Ji’s historic fight against social evils and discrimination. “The teachings of Sant Ravidas Ji continue to inspire us to eliminate discrimination and build a united, harmonious India,” noted Dr. Kumar as he urged workers to spread the saint’s vision. Meanwhile, BJP Chandigarh Pradesh President Jatinder Pal Malhotra emphasized the party’s dedication to honoring India’s spiritual leaders. He noted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’ directly reflects these timeless values. “We must take these ideals beyond remembrance and actively ensure his message of brotherhood reaches every household,” stated Malhotra during the session. Key campaign team members including Ramveer Bhatti, Amit Khairwal, Rajpal Dogra, Sunil Bagri, and Simran attended the event. Additionally, numerous state, district, and mandal office-bearers joined the discussions. Consequently, party workers took a collective pledge at the end of the workshop. Therefore, the BJP plans to take this campaign directly to the booth level, ensuring effective outreach and lasting social harmony throughout the region.
