As Jigra prepares to hit theatres, Vedang Raina, who made his film debut with The Archies, will not only be making his theatrical debut with this entertainer. In fact, the actor also lent his voice for the first time for the popular remake of ‘Phoolon Ka Taaron Ka’ a recreation of the iconic RD Burman composition for his recent release as well as the title track of the film. Impressed with his singing skills, producer Karan Johar is all praises for the buding star.

The Jigra title track is out now and has already met with widespread praise whereas audiences got a glimpse of the recreated version of ‘Phoolon Ka Taaron Ka’ featured in the teaser. Audiences have appreciated the actor-singer for his soulful singing and also for giving the classic song a fresh, emotional touch. Vedang’s vocal performance has received high praise from many and joining them is Karan Johar of Dharma Productions who appreciated it during an interview saying , “Vedang has sung two songs in the movie the Jigra Title Track and ‘Phoolon Ka Taaron Ka’, and he’s done it beautifully. His voice is so impressive that he doesn’t need autotune.”
For the unversed, Jigra tells the story of Satya (Alia Bhatt), a devoted sister determined to rescue her brother, Ankur, played by Vedang Raina. The action-thriller is directed by Vasan Bala and also features Manoj Pahwa, Rahul Ravindran and others in crucial roles. It is produced by Dharma Productions in collaboration with Viacom18 Studios and Alia Bhatt’s Eternal Sunshine Productions and is slated to release on October 11.
