Paras Health Panchkula Hosts Yoga Day Events Across Panchkula, Engaging 200+ People in Wellness & Preventive Health

Panchkula, June 21:
Paras Health Panchkula reaffirmed its commitment to preventive healthcare and community engagement by organizing a multi-location wellness initiative on the occasion of the 11th International Day of Yoga. The large-scale celebration brought together over 200 participants across various venues, combining yoga, health education, and emergency training in a unique and impactful way.

The events took place simultaneously at three key locations in Panchkula:

  • Sector 5 Town Park:
    A peaceful, early morning yoga session saw the participation of 100 local residents, who engaged in guided practices to improve flexibility, balance, and mental focus.
  • Altruist Technologies Campus:
    A total of 45 corporate professionals took part in an integrated session of yoga followed by Basic Life Support (BLS) training, empowering them with vital life-saving skills alongside wellness awareness.
  • NIFT Campus:
    60 students and faculty members benefited from a special session featuring a talk by Dr. Lt. Gen. Narendra Kotwal, Director – Endocrinology, Paras Health. His address focused on the rising burden of lifestyle-related disorders and the preventive power of yoga in managing long-term health.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Pankaj Mittal, Facility Director at Paras Health Panchkula, said:

“Preventive health is no longer optional, it’s essential. Our goal with Yoga Day was to extend health beyond the hospital and into real life. Whether it’s through yoga, lifestyle awareness, or BLS training, we want people to actively participate in their own well-being.”
