Chandan Bairwa Leads Tree Plantation Drive in Ram Darbar to Promote Environmental Awareness

Under “One Tree for Mother” campaign, BJP leaders plant saplings in Ram Darbar on World Environment Day and urge citizens to contribute to a greener Chandigarh.

Chandigarh, July 26:
As part of World Environment Day celebrations, a significant tree plantation drive was carried out in Ram Darbar under the campaign “One Tree for Mother”, led by Chandan Bairwa, Mandal President of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee District, BJP Chandigarh.

Speaking on the occasion, Chandan Bairwa emphasized the importance of environmental protection and urged every citizen to plant at least one tree in the name of their mother, contributing to a greener and healthier Ram Darbar and Chandigarh.

“What we give to nature, it returns double. If we keep our environment beautiful and healthy, it will do the same for us. Trees help reduce pollution and enhance the quality of life,” Bairwa said.

The plantation drive saw active participation from several BJP leaders and members, including District General Secretary Sandeep Mahajan, District Secretary Manju Dubey, District Co-convener Kundan Bairwa, SC Morcha Vice Presidents Vicky Shera and Ravi Aadiwal, Mandal Vice President Aruna Devi, General Secretary Luvkesh, Treasurer Deepak Gupta, Secretary Manish, along with Raj Kumar, Bansati Devi, Rajni, and Paras.

Participants planted saplings across the area, reinforcing their commitment to preserving the environment and promoting green practices within the community.
