Panchkula, August 2: With Raksha Bandhan just days away, the festive buzz is already lighting up the markets. Amidst this cheerful atmosphere, Gopal’s Panchkula, a well-known name in sweets, bakery, and restaurants, has launched a beautiful collection of handmade rakhis, adding a personal and meaningful touch to the celebration.

Handcrafted Rakhis for Raksha Bandhan

The unique handcrafted rakhi collection is now available at Gopal’s Sector 8 outlet in Panchkula and was officially launched by Managing Director Udayveer Singh along with Gagandeep Singh. This initiative not only promotes traditional artistry but also serves a noble cause—these rakhis have been lovingly created by a group of widowed women, offering them both livelihood and empowerment.

“Raksha Bandhan is a deeply emotional and sacred festival symbolizing the bond between brothers and sisters,” said Udayveer Singh. “Through these handmade rakhis, we aim to blend tradition with social impact by enabling women to earn and support their families.”

Gopal’s has curated a wide variety of rakhis, including light-up rakhis and cartoon character designs for children, as well as elegant styles for youth and men. To complement the festive offerings, affordable gift hampers featuring chocolates and dry fruits have also been introduced.

In addition, Gopal’s has expanded its sweets portfolio this Raksha Bandhan with a new lineup prepared by specialized artisans. The new delicacies include Khajoor Barfi, Tiranga Barfi, Kaju Badam Pista Barfi, and Badam Kesar Katli, among others—designed to delight every palate.

Known for its unwavering commitment to quality, purity, and taste, Gopal’s continues to be a go-to destination for festive gifting. “We never compromise on quality,” Singh emphasized, “and this year’s collection ensures a blend of flavor, tradition, and emotion that truly captures the spirit of Raksha Bandhan.”
