Addressing the gathering as Chief Guest, Jatinder Pal Malhotra, State President, BJP Chandigarh, said the present “Kartavya Budget” ensures balanced weightage for every section of society. He highlighted benefits for farmers, youth, women, entrepreneurs, and marginalized communities.

“This budget reflects our commitment to inclusive growth,” he said. He also urged residents to actively contribute to the city’s and nation’s development. According to him, collective participation remains essential to transform India into a truly “Viksit Bharat.”

Meanwhile, Dr. Dharinder Tayal, State Chief Spokesperson, noted that since 2014, the Central Government has worked to uplift the last person in the queue. He added that pre-budget tax relaxation measures would provide relief to the middle class. Therefore, he said, these steps will further strengthen economic growth.

In addition, Naveen Soni, State Convenor of the Economic Cell, explained the budget’s focus on infrastructure. He pointed to expansion in road and rail transportation. These initiatives, he stated, will create jobs, improve ease of doing business and support small-scale enterprises and vendors.
