BJP State Spokesperson Naresh Arora urged prompt action on drinking water shortages and poor street lighting. Mayor Saurabh Joshi subsequently ordered officials to fix these problems immediately.
CHANDIGARH: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State Spokesperson Naresh Arora met Chandigarh Mayor Saurabh Joshi today. During the meeting, Arora discussed the long-pending civic issues of citizens living in Ward 18, specifically covering Sector 20 and Sector 30.

The BJP spokesperson prominently raised several crucial problems before the Mayor. These major issues included the chronic drinking water shortage in Sector 30, poor cleanliness management, and malfunctioning streetlights. Furthermore, Arora highlighted various other public utility challenges that fall under the Municipal Corporation’s jurisdiction. He urgently requested the Mayor to ensure a swift resolution for the local residents.

Mayor Saurabh Joshi listened to all the grievances seriously. Consequently, he directed the concerned civic officials to take immediate action. He also instructed them to resolve these public welfare issues without any delay. The Mayor reiterated his commitment to maintaining high standards of city infrastructure.
Meanwhile, Naresh Arora emphasized that the BJP always prioritizes the problems of the common people. He expressed strong confidence that the local administration would soon resolve the issues of Sector 20 and Sector 30. In addition, Arora promised that he would continue to raise public interest matters before the authorities. He concluded by stating that he will maintain constant coordination with the officials until the completion of all repair works.
