Amritsar: Punjab Police has busted two international drug-trafficking cartel and arrested six persons including a female colleague of a drug smuggler, recovering 4 kg of heroin.
Amritsar Police Commissioner Gurpreet Singh Bhullar said, “According to the Chief Minister’s order against war medicines, the Commission in Amritsar has achieved great success. We have recovered four kilos of heroin, which came from the border by drone. We have arrested six accused, including a woman.”
“The important thing about this is that a Taran Taran -native person who is a smuggler was active for a long time, and he worked with livestock to hide his drug business. He used to show that he was involved in the goat rearing as a business. However, he is the owner of a big, magnificent house. He also recovering from him.”
He also mentioned a 60 -year -old woman, who is currently associated with a big fish Ranjit alias Cheetah, who is currently in jail. “Jasbir Kaur, a 60-year-old woman, was found associated with Ranjit Cheetah, a drug cartel and is currently in jail. He maintained a close relationship with Pakistan-based smugglers, with other people. He had several communication channels. He had many communication channels and used drones to bring it into consignment on the international border.”
The Director General of Punjab, Gaurav Yadav posted on X and confirmed the seizure. “In a major crack on smuggling of cross-border drugs, the Amritsar Commission Police exposed two international narco-trafficking cartells, arrested six persons, including a female colleague of a drug smuggler and recovering 4 kg of heroin.
