Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal will launch the FastTrack Punjab Portal on Tuesday, aimed at streamlining the investment approval process in the state. The portal promises to deliver all necessary clearances to investors within 45 days of application submission.
“This is not just a reform — it’s the beginning of a movement,” said CM Mann in a media release, emphasizing that ease of doing business in Punjab is evolving from a slogan into a sustained culture.
He highlighted that the initiative replaces “discretion with discipline, delay with digital, and confusion with clarity,” marking a shift from bureaucratic red tape to a responsive and efficient governance model.
The portal is designed to cater to a wide range of investors — from startups to multinational corporations. Mann said the system is now “proactive, precise, and professional,” and welcomes all investors with “incentives, integrity, and intention.”
He also noted a change in the role of state officials, who will now act as facilitators rather than mere regulators, ensuring smoother engagement with the investment community.
