Ropper/Chandigarh: The Pragi Founder Forum 2025 was successfully organized by IIT Ropar Ihub Awadh under the National Mission under the National Mission under the cooperation of interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems (NM-ICP), Department of Science and Technology (DST), Puri Oil Mills Limited and Matitty Genis. The incident marked the conclusion of the Pragati Micro Accelerator Program.
Dr. Radhika Trukha, KEO, Ihub Awadh, shared the vision to enable deep technology and technical entrepreneurship in agriculture, while Dr. Mukesh Kestwal, the CIO, provided insights on intensifying deep technical startups as part of the pre-prone initiative. This event is Prof. Rajiv Ahuja was held under the leadership of Director, IIT Ropper, and was coordinated by the Program Manager, Mrs. Parry Sood.
Honorable Union Minister of Science and Technology, Dr. Jitendra Singh unveiled several major initiatives, including Sprint – Haryana and Telangana versions, release of Pragati reports, inauguration of the office of IP and Tech Communication (OITC), and an announcement of ₹ 98 lakh for the government’s introduction. He also recognized two startups as “achievers” and appreciated IIT Ropar for his efforts to promote agri startups in small towns.
Guest of Honor, Mrs. Parliament member Rekha Sharma, Rajya Sabha, insisted on inclusive innovation in startups and participation of women.
Senior government and industry leaders, Prof. Proper (DST Secretary), Padma Shri Kanwal Singh Chauhan, Dr. Pannerasalavam Madangopal (Meety Startup Hub CEO), Ms. Tejaswini Puri (Director, Puri Oil Mills) and Mr. Haris Khan (Agriculture today) were included.
A panel on “enabling innovation ecosystems” included IFFCO KISAN, IBM, E2E Network, Wadhwani Foundation, Fitt Deli and experts from others who discussed policy, participation and role of platforms in supporting startups.
