Held at Kamalam, the BJP State Office in Sector 33, the initiative aimed to promote healthy eating habits across local households. Furthermore, the event successfully aligned with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s national call for a balanced and sustainable lifestyle. Under the leadership of Mahila Morcha State President Sonam Verma, party workers prepared a variety of nutritious dishes in their homes. Remarkably, they created these meals using minimal fuel and absolutely no cooking oil. Participants later displayed their innovative recipes at the party office, demonstrating practical ways to improve daily nutrition. BJP Chandigarh State President Jitender Pal Malhotra attended the event alongside several senior party officials. He sampled the healthy dishes and highly praised the creative efforts of the women’s wing. “Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s message of adopting a healthy lifestyle and reducing excessive consumption of cooking oil is extremely important for building a healthier society,” Malhotra stated during his address to the gathering.
