CHANDIGARH — Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini will officially inaugurate the highly anticipated Chandigarh Khelo Games 2026 on May 25. The grand opening ceremony will occur at 5:00 PM inside the Panjab University Gymnasium Hall. Earlier this week, BJP Chandigarh State President Jitender Pal Malhotra personally invited the Chief Minister. Malhotra visited the CM’s residence to present the formal invitation. Furthermore, he briefed Saini on the extensive preparations for the upcoming sports tournament. Several prominent leaders attended this crucial meeting. Sports Cell Convener Prabhjeet Lamba and State General Secretary Sanjeev Rana were present. In addition, Shakti Prakash Devshali, Meenakshi Thakur, and Sargun Arora joined the delegation to finalize the event details. Meanwhile, organizers designed the Chandigarh Khelo Games 2026 specifically for emerging Under-19 athletes.
